Our Mission

Fountain of the Sun is a secure, well maintained active 55+ community. Residents will be afforded a range of activities that serve and enhance their lifestyles. Our environment shall be maintained in a way that attracts others to locate in our community. Fountain of the Sun strives to promote and maintain a friendly, secure, and updated community. We aim to provide our residents with diverse sought-after activities and a sense of belonging that encourages lifelong wellness.

Our Community

Fountain of the Sun is a welcoming 55+ community located in Mesa, Arizona, offering comfortable desert living across 582 acres. Our community includes a variety of home styles such as single family homes, condominiums, manufactured homes, and apartments, giving residents the flexibility to choose the lifestyle that fits their needs.

The community was officially incorporated on November 20, 1972. The original incorporators were Gary A. Rosenberg, Harold J. Christ, and Bryant H. Prentice III.

FOS Community governance is guided by a seven-member Board of Directors. Each director serves a three-year term and may serve no more than two consecutive terms. After completing two terms, directors step down for a three-year period before becoming eligible to serve again. This structure helps promote balanced leadership, fresh perspectives, and long-term stability within the community.

Fountain of the Sun is designed to support vibrant, active living for adults 55 and better. With well-maintained amenities, organized activities, and a strong tradition of neighbor-to-neighbor connection, residents enjoy both independence and a sense of belonging. We strive to maintain a safe, attractive, and friendly environment where homeowners can enjoy the quality of life our residents deserve.
